Good afternoon, thank you for your feedback. The 100W is the maximum output of the main USB-C port. However, with a prolonged 100W draw, the electronics gradually heat up. The charger therefore automatically reduces the power once it reaches a certain temperature to maintain a safe operating temperature and prevent excessive thermal stress on the components. This is the price to pay for its exceptionally small size – current technology allows for very high power in a small body, but with a long-term constant load of 100W, it's necessary to thermally regulate the power. In practice, the power then fluctuates at around 60–80W depending on the conditions and ambient temperature. The 100W is therefore not just a marketing figure. It is the maximum available power that the charger can achieve, and under a prolonged high load, it protects itself and the connected device by regulating its output.
