In the e-shop the cable was marked as data cable, but unfortunately it does not work as data cable. I bought it as a replacement for the infotainment system in my Skoda Octavia III, because I damaged the original cable by bending it into the door. However, this cable cannot be used for data connection to the vehicle.
Charging works without a hitch, so if someone is just looking for a charging cable, it will serve well. But if you need a cable for data transfer, I can't recommend it from my own experience, unfortunately.
