The original cover for the SmartTag was quite expensive so we opted for this one because, Alza products usually meet a good price performance ratio. But this one is not a rule in my opinion. The attachment to a relatively large carabiner is very impractical and the already large tag sticks out even more. Either we got an uncut piece, or the author expects the whole tag to be pushed through a cut out hole in the middle, where I would expect that after two or three such actions the cover will simply crack and you have to buy a new one. We'd rather use the tag without the wrapper than with this one.
