Given the drawbacks, I basically use it for one thing only – to protect the lenses of my spare phone when it’s not in use. If I break my main one and the spare becomes my main one for a while, I’ll take it off so I can take photos. This cheap S A17 seems to have a plastic camera lens, so it’s nice that it’s got at least something. But I could just as easily have put a piece of cloth or something opaque in there instead of this rubbish. If I’d bought a gadget like that as my main phone, I’d probably end up having a row over the complaint.
