Someone wrote that there is only one attempt to glue it, so I write that the repair is possible.
It happened to me that I glued the glass closer to the bottom edge and the Xiaomi axis cover then went under the glass and lifted it, so I found out that a sharp razor knife can be used to slowly and carefully peel off the glass and re-glue it better. I recommend to be in a dust-free, draft-free environment and wash your hands thoroughly beforehand so that no dirt flies through the air. Even after re-gluing, the glass is perfectly clear everywhere and the re-gluing is not noticeable.
