When assembling, do not tighten anything at the beginning. Once you have screws everywhere and it's centered, then tighten everything at once. Otherwise folding ok. I also had a square foot and an Alza board a few years back. But I like the round ones and the hornbach plate much better. It just works better in space. If you like the board in the photos, look for "Table top oak B/C 1600x800x26 mm". For 2,200. It is oiled and has had the edges done, but quite roughly. I sanded the 180, 240 with paper and the edges with a 340 sponge. Then Osmo TopOil 3058 matt - just one coat. I recommend just buying the samples. 10, max 20 ml is enough. I didn't deal with the underside, the factory oil was enough. And the result is top. Smooth, natural and those white round legs. I'm just happy. Basically, for the price of the bamboo board, I got solid oak. Legs 6k, board 2.2. Osmo pint, sandpaper, rag, gloves and plastic underneath to keep dust out of the living room- about a litre. If you only get samples, 300 max. So under 10k a table like that with minimal work, I'll take it. And it was a nice break from my standard job.

What disappointed me a little on assembly was the electronics mount designed on a dubious plastic extension, which contrasts extremely with the solid design. Moreover, this dubious holder arrived already broken, so it went straight into the trash and was replaced by ordinary pull-tabs. A metal handle would suit the table better. In operation, I was also surprised at how easy it is to get the table to a state where it reports overheating motors. My daughter achieved it in about two minutes from the first switch. Yet realistically there's no trace of heat anywhere and the massive metal should work as one giant heat sink, so there's definitely room for improvement here too. Despite these minor ailments, I am still very satisfied.
