The bracket is fine, but if the "level" isn't there at all, it's much better than if there's something there that makes you have to rewind it when you're too lazy to go get the real one.
I needed a simple mount for a 65´ TV. I didn't require any tilting or swivelling capability so this product fully met my expectations. You can do the installation fine by yourself, but then you still need a second pair of hands to hang the TV.
