I have been using the AlzaErgo Arm AR2.1 from the lower price level, without USB ports and for two monitors for a year. So I quite enthusiastically ordered this single monitor arm with USB ports. The result is unfortunately quite disappointing, while the AR2.1 has a beautifully solid construction with no play and the only flaw is perhaps the cable-management system. Even the simplified mounting of the monitor via the 2 upper VESA screws is very welcome. Arm 215S was quite disappointing after that experience. The VESA bracket is not fixed, but removable (probably for easier mounting) but unfortunately it has quite a lot of play (the play could probably be removed by tightening the screw behind the joint, but unfortunately I lose the tilt adjustment and I would always have to loosen the screw). In addition, it is not even possible in my case (Samsung S24F350) to use the pre-mounted VESA adapter as I am subsequently unable to slide the VESA adapter into the arm through the integral part of the original stand.
