I decided to try this tape because of the higher purchase price of the original tape. In my opinion, this tape is a good replacement for the original tape. It works like any other tape. Although the foundation separates worse, as some other reviews mention, I personally didn't find it dramatic. I didn't fight it that much. For the price/performance ratio, this tape is a good choice and if I need another tape, I will definitely choose this one again.

The disadvantage over the original Brother tape is that the laminating layer was loose on the spool so that it stuck to the black layer and it was impossible to separate them. In the box there is a recommendation to wind the spool back for tension before installing it in the printer, but the glued layers could not be separated. With the original ribbon, I have never had to stretch the spool and the printer works as it should immediately after inserting it. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I would never buy the alternative again.
