If one needs more than one cup of coffee and has no problem with the inversion method, this is a great product. The flow problems could probably be solved, but I personally switched to the inversion method, which is easier with the XL version due to the size of the lid (the cup fits well, so there is no risk of slipping when turning). However, it takes noticeably more power to operate. For most people this shouldn't be a problem, but if someone has weak arms or pain for whatever reason, it could be uncomfortable.
Ideal size for two classic coffee cups
The circumference of the lid fits perfectly to the standard cup size (which is a big advantage in the inversion method)
The coffee flows more through the lid, so the inversion method is basically a necessity (I've only tried classic paper filters, maybe with more filters or a metal alternative the flow will be less)
Compared to the classic AeroPress, significantly more force is required to push the piston into the body and the subsequent extraction
