Excellent machine. The V60 is even more efficient, but probably more demanding. In the aeropress, the extraction time can be cut off by pressing. For some coffees (filter, black) I prefer to use V60, for "latte" aeropress.
I was annoyed that there was no trickle in this pack (but, would I use it? for what? ), nor a filter holder (but I use filters repeatedly, so I don't pull out new ones often anyway).
Maintenance is great (compared to the French press): after use I separate the paper from the loger, squeeze the loger into the compost, wash both the rubber and the filter against each other, put the rubber through the wet roller and let everything dry. When I run the dishwasher, I put everything (except the paper) in there. After 2 years, the rubber still works the same.
And I agree with what Jan from Kladno writes.
