One connector was so tight that it destroyed my RODE M5 microphone when pulling it out. He pulled out my entire liner and ripped the capsule wires off. I always recommend tucking the connectors against each other a few times to make them line up and then inserting them into the microphone. The 10-meter didn't do it for me.
