I'm using the STRONG 5GROUTERAX3000 as my reference 5G router. Besides this Acer, I've also tried the Acer Connect X6E 5G and the Cudy AX3000. Neither of the ACERs could get any 5G signal in my flat in Prague, and they kept connecting to 4G (LTE) bands, which makes them useless with an O2 unlimited 5G card, because with the STRONG router I get speeds of over 500Mbps, whereas with the others it's under 100Mbps. So, I wouldn't recommend trying an Acer for 5G at all in a location where you're not directly opposite a BTS. The Cudy router did catch a 5G signal, but at a lower speed. I definitely recommend the STRONG for receiving a 5G signal from an unlimited SIM.

It couldn't find a 5G signal in my flat, even though I've had a signal with other 5G routers.
The AI didn't help with connecting to 5G; it kept connecting only to the stronger 4G signal and didn't connect to the 5G band at all.
The LEDs don't indicate the 4G/5G signal status - only the SIM connection in general (I can only see which network I'm connected to in the web administration, or by the speed).
