This was an upgrade from a 24 IPS monitor. Fantastic monitor at a great price, it really is huge and all work (multiple Word side by side, dwg drawings, multitasking. ) with it is greatly facilitated. Games are also great, however unfortunately most videos are in 16:9 anyway, so you then have two bars on the sides. The fact that it has no curvature is no problem for me, I have it less than a meter away from me. One such minor drawback, which one gets used to, is the necessary zooming in on much of the text.
