Maybe I'm just a muppet, but the installation was definitely harder than with a glass one. There are no instructions in the package, so I recommend finding a video on YouTube. I did the first installation dry, which resulted in loads of bubbles and bits of dirt. So I took the film off, sprayed the included gel on both the display and the film, and it went much better straight away. The film reminds me of a hydrogel, not sure how it will hold up in a fall. It's a shame about the high price, but it's worth it. We'll see.
