The only reason to consider this monitor is HDR. But it only has HDR quality when using local dimming on high. However, it is unusable due to the distinctive blooming (a light spot around the cursor on a dark background), which is also noticeable when playing games. However, once you turn local dimming down or off, HDR is no slouch. So it is actually a mystery to me what is supposed to be the main asset of this monitor. If you're all about HDR, any (even the cheapest) OLED monitor is infinitely better. If HDR isn't your thing, you can get an IPS monitor with 10x better SDR for a similar price. When I add to that the software problems, where buying a monitor is a lottery if you come across a piece with the red tint bug or not, it's overall a big disappointment.

I was expecting premium quality all around given the ~140% price of other 27", 180Hz, 10bit color, 1440p monitors, but I'm disappointed.

Extremely strong brightness in normal SDR mode. Anything above 40/100 was uncomfortable for my eyes, but it can be adjusted as needed and the setting stays saved.

When Local dimming is on, HDR must also be on or you won't get enough brightness even in complete darkness. Regardless of optimization, Local Dimming causes very unsightly about 1.5cm² "droplets" (lit dimming zones) around bright pixels, such as. mouse cursor, white text, etc. so Local dimming must be turned off for normal use.
Get a monitor primarily for gaming or productivity. 1440p is not suitable for watching streaming services. All the ones I've tried only provide 1080p or 4K. 1080p is blurry on a 27" monitor and 4K is not supported by this monitor. Better either get 1080p with +240Hz and settle for a 24-25" display or get some 4K with hotkeys for convenient mode changing. You can play games at 1440p with DLSS upscaling to 4K for similar performance to what you'll get with this 1440p monitor.
Minimal setup options. You cannot set any hotkey options for monitor functions, the monitor has no support from the manufacturer.
Colours/saturation cannot be changed even in SDR mode. I tried to increase the color saturation via one software, but the first time I changed it, I flashed the infamous red tint, so I preferred to go back to the original preset (6500K or something)
In HDR+local dimming mode you can't change anything at all. Brightness, contrast, just nothing, only FreeSync On/Off.
Firmware cannot be updated in case of an outdated piece.

Problematic firmware - frankly it doesn't bother me at all - if you don't use HDR and keep the default color settings (which is perfect and can be calibrated via GPU control panels) there is no red tint, of course it's a shame that such a great HW is limited by FW and lack of updates (missing USB Ports). Qualitatively compared to the returned 27" AOC AGON AG276QZD2 very similar in terms of color and black rendering and one does not risk burn-in.
Wonderful colours, in other reviews someone criticises them but in my opinion they can't calibrate.
