from the back it says on the label 50-60 Hz and it found me as 180 Hz when I tried 120 Hz so there was a terrible black smearing as I adjusted the brightness all the time shadows I had black everywhere
For gaming as this monitor is branded I don't recommend it, the motion blur from black smearing is very noticeable. Better look for an IPS panel for this price range
I've been wanting to replace my 1366x768 TN panel with at least an FHD monitor for a long time, and I've been deciding between IPS and VA. I gave the VA panel a chance on recommendation and it was a mistake, I do not know how it is with other VA panels but with this monitor goes very but very visible problem with blurring and black smearing, what so I know so black smearing is a problem of black color that the pixel changes to black much longer than other colors and therefore creates an unpleasant image. I thought I would only see text flickering on the internet like YouTube and others, but this problem is really everywhere, for example, moving the cursor on a darker background causes the cursor to leave a red blurry motion behind, also the cursor borders when moving are not black at all but the cursor is just a white blur bordered by red until I stop the mouse. I am aware that VA panels have a lot of problems with this, but this monitor has a really noticeable problem, unfortunately ovedrive does not help almost at all, the only possible solution was to increase the black level to max and contrast to max but it already colors look really terrible. If this problem of blurring in dark scenes was not then it is the best monitor in this price range, but unfortunately with the monitor can only watch movies thanks to the great contrast and even there it is noticed that it is not sharpened. That's another thing, everything that is in motion is out of focus and unreadable, and this sharpening only when the motion stops is also very visible. I have no choice but to tell you not to buy this monitor, at most as a second monitor for videos, which are quite good to look at.
high quality native contrast
180Hz (rather detrimental for this monitor)
there is a "joystick" on the back for quick and convenient monitor adjustment
nice design and stable construction
very high quality black colour
freesync
Really noticeable black smearing and ghosting or whatever it is
I don't recommend it for anything other than movies
really bad HDR
