Der Tefal KO1408E0 Thermo Protect Wasserkocher verfügt über eine doppelwandige Konstruktion mit einer inneren Edelstahlkammer und einer äußeren Kunststoffschicht. Die glänzende Innenseite besteht somit aus Edelstahl und nicht aus Kunststoff. Diese Bauweise sorgt dafür, dass das Wasser heiß bleibt, während die Außenfläche des Wasserkochers kühl und sicher zu berühren ist.
