Some older BIOS versions on the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX motherboards do not support Ryzen 3rd generation. My question is whether this motherboard is updated to support a Ryzen 5 3600?

As far as I know all MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX mbs support 3rd Gen. That's the whole point of the "MAX" at the end...
The normal TOMAHAWK does not support 3rd gen out of the box, but the MAX does. It worked just fine for me with that exact CPU.
