Das MikroTik RBwAPR-2nD&R11e-LR8, auch bekannt als das wAP LR8 Kit, ist eigentlich ein LoRaWAN Gateway. Dieses Kit enthält einen vorinstallierten UDP-Packet-Forwarder für die Verbindung zu öffentlichen oder privaten LoRa-Servern und ist für die Verwendung mit der LoRa-Technologie konzipiert.
Die LoRa-Frequenz für Europa ist 863-870 MHz34. Diese Frequenz ist durch den ETSI-Standard definiert und wird in allen europäischen Ländern verwendet
