High performance with an AMD Ryzen processor
The hardware is powered by a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with a 64-bit x86 architecture. This processor offers eight threads, ensuring several applications run smoothly at the same time. The device supports the modern QuTS hero operating system, or the standard QTS system. This system focuses on data integrity, protection against corruption, and includes tools to prevent information loss. It also features support for block-level snapshots.
Reliability with redundant power
For high reliability and continuous operation, the rackmount chassis includes two redundant 550W power supplies. In the event of an unexpected failure of one module, the second backup module takes over without any interruption to the entire system's operation. This hardware configuration effectively protects business data from sudden shutdowns. Three 80mm system fans with 12V power supply handle the cooling of internal components.
