Dual-processor architecture
Each of the two controllers contains a quad-core Intel Xeon D-2123IT processor with a frequency of 2.2GHz. In burst mode, the clock frequency automatically increases to 3GHz. The system distributes the computational load and processes demanding business applications in real-time without delay. The x86 architecture supports a wide range of virtualisation platforms.
Reliable SAS interface
The 16 bays can be fitted with both 2.5" and 3.5" drives with a SAS 12Gb/s interface. Backwards compatibility allows you to connect older SAS 6Gb/s drives. The device supports fast acceleration using SSD caching to speed up both reading and writing. The hot-swap design makes it easy to replace drives during operation without having to shut down the entire system.
Fast NAS network interface
Each controller carries four 10GbE SFP+ ports for data transfers on the corporate network. These are complemented by three gigabit RJ45 Ethernet ports, which are used for remote management, with the system supporting Wake on LAN and Jumbo Frame functions. In total, the storage offers 14 LAN ports for network connection. The measured read speed is 5773MB/s and the write speed is 2201MB/s. Four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports are available for connecting other devices.
Expandable RAM
In its basic configuration, the system includes 65536MB of DDR4 ECC RAM. A total of 16 R-DIMM/LR-DIMM slots can accommodate up to 1024GB of RAM, or 512GB per controller. The system administrator can easily expand the memory to meet the needs of specific applications. ECC memory detects and corrects single-bit errors, which prevents data corruption.
Advanced data protection
The storage supports a wide range of disk arrays, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60. For a high level of security for large data volumes, a combined RAID 60 array is used. The system uses the AES-NI encryption engine to protect sensitive corporate information. Files can be shared via SAMBA, HFS, CIFS, or iSCSI protocols.
Redundant power and cooling
The entire rack is powered by redundant hot-swap power supplies with a total output of 1400W, which operate with an input voltage of 90 to 264V AC. In the event of one module failing, the other immediately takes over the entire load. The internal temperature is maintained by three fans measuring 60 × 60 × 38mm with speeds of up to 16000rpm. The typical consumption of a fully populated storage unit is 501W, and the annual energy consumption is around 4389kWh at an operating temperature of 0 to 40°C.
