Jury statement: The Philips PureProtect 4200 Series represents an energy-efficient air purification solution in an elegant and modern design.
Impressive performance in a smaller size
The air purifier is up to 1.5× more powerful than similar products of the same size.* It has a powerful filtration rate of 600m3/h (CADR) and is suitable for large spaces up to 156m2**. It will perfectly clean the air in a 20m2 room in less than 5 minutes.***
Four-layer HEPA filtration captures 99.97% of the smallest particles
Air purification is exceptionally effective thanks to advanced four-layer filtration. It reliably and efficiently removes common allergens, odours, gaseous substances, mites and viruses such as H1N1**** or the cause of COVID-19***** from the air. The purifier captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.003 microns.******
Quiet even at maximum performance
You can place the air purifier in your bedroom or children's room without any worries, as it will not disturb your rest. It uses SilentWings technology with a unique blade design inspired by the flight of an owl, and even at maximum air purification speed, it is quieter than a normal conversation.*******
Lower energy consumption than a light bulb
Removing impurities from the air is possible even with low energy consumption. At maximum power, the purifier consumes only 54W – less energy than a conventional light bulb.
Intelligently senses and adapts to the air quality in the room
The purifier uses intelligent AeraSense technology, which scans the air 1,000× per second to detect impurities. It displays the air quality in real time on the display and in the mobile app. In automatic mode, it selects the most suitable mode according to the current level of pollution.
Control the purifier from anywhere with the Air+ app
The Air+ mobile app helps you make the most of your device. It shows you the current indoor pollution level and outdoor air quality, and allows for remote control. In Auto+ mode, artificial intelligence evaluates how to clean the air in a given room and helps to minimise noise and reduce energy consumption.
