Headlamps from the Petzl PIXA series are durable flashlights designed specifically for workers who regularly work in the dark. The PIXA 2 offers 2 lighting modes - a wide, uniform cone of light with a range of 25 metres or a combination cone with a focused upper part with a range of 55 metres. When the batteries are almost dead, it goes into reserve mode with a range of 5 meters for 13 hours. Its main advantage is its constant light output throughout the entire operation. The headlamp can be worn on the head, clipped to a helmet with the included accessory or placed on the ground. The rotatable body of the flashlight allows precise aiming of the light beam. The control knob is large enough for comfortable adjustment of the light mode even with gloves on. The Petzl PIXA 2 headlamp features high resistance to dropping and deformation, is resistant to chemicals and has an IP67 rating. The flashlight is operated by 2 AA batteries (included).

Multiple power modes including emergency mode
The Petzl PIXA 2 headlamp offers 2 lighting modes. In working mode it has a range of 25 m (20 lm) and lasts up to 26 hours, in motion mode, the headlamp shines for up to 3.5 hours with a range of 55 m (80 lm). In the event of nearly depleted batteries, the headlamp flashes to signal the transition to power saving mode and automatically reduces the range to 5 m (10 lm), ensuring 13 more hours of operation.
High durability for working in harsh environments
The Petzl PIXA 2 headlamp is designed as a working headlamp for working in dark environments. It is resistant to impact, drops from a height of 2 m, pressure of 80 kg and exposure to chemicals. The IP67 rating provides full protection against dust and water resistance when immersed up to 1 m for 30 minutes. After immersion in water, the flashlight remains fully functional and requires no special maintenance. The Petzl PIXA is certified for ATEX explosive atmospheres zone 2/22. The body of the headlamp can be rotated to the transport position, in which the glass is protected from scratches and the headlamp from accidental switching on.
Easy attachment to helmet
Included in the package is a holder with which the headlamp can be attached directly to helmets equipped with a standard 20 × 3 mm slot. The Petzl PIXA headlamp can be attached to other helmets using the included elastic band. The elastic helmet strap and head strap are washable at 40 °C.

Light flux
It is specified in Lumens (lm) and the higher the value, the more intensely the headlamp shines. Some LED headlamps offer multiple levels of light intensity, adjustable either in steps or continuously. However, the higher luminous flux shortens the endurance.Up to 100 lm - headlamp for home use (lighting in the basement, in the attic, when repairing the car).
100 - 400 lm - outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
