The Optoma Photon Life PH32ST projector becomes the centre of your entertainment. This ultra-compact device for home use features reliable DLP projection technology with a native resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. A light output of 3100 ISO lm ensures a bright image in various lighting conditions. It uses an energy-efficient 4LED system as its light source. The device supports a native 16:9 aspect ratio, but also handles 4:3 or 16:10 formats with ease. The entire unit weighs 3.2kg and has compact dimensions of 12.5×30.7×22.8cm. A wide range of interfaces on the rear panel allows for connecting signal sources. There are two HDMI 2.0 ports with eARC support. A 15-pin D-Sub VGA interface accepts analogue video signals. You can output sound via the 3.5mm audio jack. Data connectivity is complemented by a USB-C interface, a USB-A power port, a serial RS-232 port, and an RJ-45 network connector.

Image quality and details
The projection is built on a high contrast ratio of 500,000:1, rendering deep blacks and bright whites. The projector supports the Amazing Colour space with accurate coverage of the sRGB standard. The size of the projected image can be adjusted from a 30" to 300" screen size. The device easily processes 4K video signals with support for HDR10 and HLG standards.
Light source
The 4LED technology light source has a long lifespan of up to 30,000 hours of operation without needing replacement. When ECO mode is activated, the fan noise drops to 29dB, while in normal mode it reaches 35dB. The economy mode also contributes to more efficient operation of the projector and reduces energy consumption. The total power consumption of the device in operation is 226W.
Short throw projection
This short-throw device requires a distance from the wall of 45.8cm to 551cm. The throw ratio ranges from 0.69–0.83:1 and the fixed image offset is 107%. Automatic and manual vertical and horizontal keystone correction in a range of +/-30° helps you set the correct image shape. The 1.2× manual zoom with a focal length of f=10.2–12.24mm provides image magnification.
Sound and gaming mode
The sound is provided by a built-in 10W speaker. Gamers can activate gaming mode, which supports 1080p display at 120Hz with a response time of 8.6ms. The low response time contributes to a smoother image response when playing fast-paced games. There is also a special mode for a golf simulator and full support for Full 3D display with DLP Link glasses.
Management and additional features
The body construction is dust-resistant according to the IP6X specification and can withstand continuous 24/7 operation. An integrated ToF sensor is used for automatic focusing. The projector also supports 360° installation, which enables flexible placement in various projection environments. An integrated Kensington lock slot enhances the security of the device.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
