The nJoy Keen 600 UPS uses the Line interactive design approach. Off-line is seen as the simplest form in case of a black-out because it switches to the internal battery for electric power. The line interactive UPS also adds power protection to prevent damage from dangerous surges and spikes.

The most important parameter is the UPS run time during outages. It is therefore crucial to calculate the energy consumption of the connected electronics and ideally to add some spare power left. The nJoy Keen 600 shows the apparent power as 600, but with realistic use, the actual usage matches the value of 360 W.
