Fast Wireless Connectivity with Wi-Fi 6
The wireless network operates on the Wi-Fi 6 standard, which maintains full backward compatibility with older protocols. The total transfer speed is up to 1,800Mb/s, with the device dividing traffic into two separate frequency bands. The 2.4GHz band offers speeds up to 600Mb/s, and the 5GHz band transmits data at speeds up to 1,200Mb/s. MU-MIMO technology coordinates parallel communication with multiple end devices simultaneously. This process increases the overall transfer efficiency in a densely populated space.
Coverage and Mesh Networks with the Access Point
The device supports the creation of Mesh networks for stable coverage of large outdoor and indoor areas without the need to lay additional cables. With an IP55 rating and a special P2i nano-coating, its construction resists adverse weather conditions, such as rain, snow, and sunlight. The device can handle connections for up to 250 devices, of which up to 30 can communicate completely concurrently.
Network Security
Data transfer protection uses modern WPA3 standard encryption. The administrator can set up separate access for employees and guests via eight separate SSID wireless networks. The system also supports virtual VLAN networks and a Peer-to-peer Separation function to isolate individual client devices. The security protocols effectively prevent unauthorised access to the internal network and reliably protect sensitive company data from misuse.
Connectivity Options
A wired connection to the company infrastructure is provided by a single 2.5Gbit high-throughput Ethernet port. This WAN/LAN port supports fast data transfers and also serves to power the entire device using Power over Ethernet PoE+ technology. Field installation therefore does not require a traditional power socket in the immediate vicinity of the mounting location. The wired connection supports highly stable data stream transmission without unwanted speed fluctuations.
