Hammer action mechanics
The eighty-eight-key keyboard simulates the feel of an acoustic piano. The Hammer Action mechanism provides natural resistance to your fingers as you press the keys. The standard-sized, balanced keys have a matte finish to prevent your fingers from slipping. The velocity-sensitive keyboard translates subtle nuances into the resulting sound. The instrument simulates the behaviour of a traditional grand piano.
French DREAM DSP sound processor
The sound generator uses French DREAM DSP technology to reproduce tones. The 192-voice polyphony prevents unwanted note cut-off during fast playing or when the pedal is pressed. The integrated speakers have a total output of 40W, spreading sound into the surrounding space. The sound processor generates a clean tone with adjustable Reverb and Chorus effects. The Layer function is used to layer two different sounds on top of each other.
Wireless connectivity
The integrated Bluetooth module provides wireless data transfer to mobile devices. Users can connect the instrument to learning apps on tablets or smartphones. The wireless transmission makes it easier to practise with backing tracks played directly from an external player. The system works without the need for any connecting cables.
Connectivity and USB MIDI interface
A USB to Host connector is used to link the instrument to a computer. The USB MIDI and DIN MIDI interfaces facilitate communication with software instruments and DAW recording programs. Audio In and Audio Out connectors are used to connect external sound sources or external sound systems. A headphone output with a 3.5mm Jack connector mutes the built-in speakers for private practice.
Construction and pedal system
The instrument's cabinet is made of PVC material with a wood texture imitation. The total weight of the structure is 52kg, which contributes to its stability during play. The three-function pedal system includes Sustain, Soft and Sostenuto functions to control the length and character of the tone. The cabinet dimensions are 86 × 136 × 41cm. The mains power is supplied by the included 15V DC adapter.
Learning accessories
The package includes accessories for both beginner and advanced players. Colourful key stickers with musical notation make it easier to navigate the keyboard. The included wired headphones are perfect for quiet monitoring when playing late at night. A protective cover protects the keys from dust and dirt. The package also includes a music clip, cleaning cloth, screwdriver for assembly and an OTG USB-A to USB-C cable.
