The Montech AIR 1000 PREMIUM PC case provides a solid foundation for both gaming rigs and workstations. The design offers flexibility and efficient heat dissipation, with a choice between an aesthetic or a functional configuration straight out of the box. The black finish, combined with the backlighting, ensures a clean look for the entire system. The internal layout supports ATX, mATX, and mITX motherboards and offers space for installing graphics cards up to 340mm long. If you're using an air cooler for the CPU, you can fit coolers up to 170mm high. The PSU slot at the bottom accommodates units up to 180mm long, which also caters to power supplies with modular cabling.

Construction and side panel

The chassis is made of steel plates, which ensure the stability of the build and reduce vibration transfer. The left side is enclosed by a tempered glass panel for an unobstructed view of the components. The glass side panel relies on rotating hinges and a magnetic catch, which eliminates the need to drill into the glass and increases its strength. Tool-free access makes handling hardware easy.

Front panel versatility

The package includes two types of front panels that you can swap tool-free using the Quick Release mechanism. The mesh panel ensures ample airflow and cooling for demanding components. The tempered glass option showcases the fans' ARGB backlighting and enhances the visual style. This versatility adapts the case's appearance and functionality to your current needs.

Cooling system

The cooling system comes generously equipped right out of the box, with the case including a total of four fans. Three 140mm fans at the front work as intakes for cool air, while the rear 120mm fan exhausts heat. All installed fans have addressable ARGB backlighting that can be synchronised with the rest of your build. The total capacity allows for the installation of up to eight fans for comprehensive temperature management.

Liquid cooling support

The internal layout offers wide options for installing radiators for water cooling loops. The front position accommodates a radiator up to 360mm, or smaller variants. The top of the case allows for the mounting of radiators up to 280mm, providing flexibility when choosing AIO coolers. The rear position supports a standard 120mm radiator for supplementary cooling.

Dust protection

A system of dust filters at key air intake points keeps the interior clean. The front Quick Slide filter is easy to slide out upwards, simplifying regular maintenance without having to remove the panel. Other fine filters protect the components on the top and bottom and reduce the need for frequent cleaning of the interior.

Cable management and storage

The case includes a cable management system that ensures a clean build and optimal airflow. Pre-installed Velcro straps and seven holes with rubber grommets make organisation behind the motherboard easy. Data storage is handled by a modular cage for two hard drives and dedicated positions for four SSDs.

Top control panel

The top panel offers connectors for quick connection of peripherals and external drives. There are two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and separate inputs for headphones and a microphone. The panel also includes an LED control button for switching between nine effects, in case you don't use software control via the motherboard.
