The MikroTik CubeG-5ac60ay, Cube 60Pro ac outdoor WiFi access point is a powerful client device. It is designed for high-speed point-to-point wireless links in the unlicensed 60GHz band. The dual-band access point fully supports the modern 802.11a, 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ad and 802.11ay standards, while providing a transfer speed of up to 433Mb/s in the 5GHz backup band. The IP66-rated design with a robust metal base withstands adverse weather conditions and high temperatures ranging from –40°C to 70°C.

Wireless connection and bands
The device uses a primary 60GHz wireless link with support for the advanced 802.11ay standard, which effectively prevents interference in crowded urban airwaves and enables stable bridging over distances of up to 2.4km. For adverse weather conditions, it includes a backup radio in the 5GHz band with speeds of up to 433Mb/s. The directional antenna with 11.5dBi gain ensures stable data transmission even in poor visibility and rain.
Transmission security
The security of wireless traffic and transmitted data is ensured by the standard WPA, WPA2-PSK and WPA2 encryption protocols. The integrated firewall actively protects the internal network from unauthorised external access and lets you configure detailed rules for traffic filtering. The device fully supports deployment in modern network infrastructures thanks to native support for the IPv6 protocol and associated network services.
Management and operating system
The unit is managed by the RouterOS operating system with a level 4 licence, which offers advanced networking features for professional management. Stable system operation is supported by a 4-core IPQ-4019 processor with a frequency of 448–896MHz, along with 256MB of RAM and 64MB of flash storage. It also has a built-in DHCP server, client functions and an integrated GPS receiver for precise time synchronisation and localisation.
Connector options
The physical network connection is provided by a single gigabit Ethernet port, which is used for fast data transfer. Power is supplied via an Ethernet cable using the PoE 802.3af/at standard with a supported input voltage range of 18 to 57V.
