Developed in collaboration with musicians
The M-Audio Oxygen PRO 61 MIDI keyboard is designed based on feedback from musicians and producers, ensuring it perfectly meets the real-world needs of music creation. It offers intuitive controls that won't slow you down with lengthy setups, instead letting you focus purely on the creative process and turn your musical ideas into finished tracks faster.
MIDI keyboard with automatic mapping for music software
The M-Audio Oxygen Pro 61 MIDI keyboard gives you easy control over your music software thanks to its automatic control mapping. You get instant control over transport, faders, pan, and functions like record, solo, and mute. The MIDI keyboard easily connects to software like Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic, or Studio One, letting you control instruments and effects in real-time during both composing and mixing.
Smart function for easy chord composition
With the Smart Chord function, the M-Audio Oxygen PRO 61 lets you play entire chords with a single key or pad press, significantly speeding up music creation and arrangement. Just select the root note, and the chord settings—such as major, minor, or its voicing—will take care of the rest. There is also a custom mode where you can set your own chords by simply playing them and assigning them to keys. This enables you to create harmonically rich compositions even without advanced musical knowledge.
Smart Scale function ensures music creation without wrong notes
The M-Audio Oxygen PRO 61 MIDI keyboard is equipped with the Smart Scale function, which lets you play only the notes of a selected scale, thereby avoiding any “wrong” notes. Simply choose your desired scale, and the keyboard automatically adjusts the note layout. You can choose from several scale variations, making it easy to adapt to different musical styles.
The M-Audio Oxygen PRO 61 MIDI keyboard lets you create beats using pads
With the M-Audio Oxygen Pro 61, you can easily create rhythmic patterns just by holding down a pad. The selected sound repeats automatically according to the set note division, which helps you quickly create beats and rhythmic sequences. You can use the function in momentary mode, where the repetition is active only when pressed, or in latch mode, where the sound repeats without needing to hold the pad.
Built-in arpeggiator for beats and melodies
The MIDI keyboard features a built-in arpeggiator that automatically breaks down pressed chords into rhythmic sequences, adding movement and dynamism to your music. Simply play a chord, and the keyboard will start playing it back at a set rhythm and tempo, which synchronises with your project in the software. You can choose the note length and rhythmic division to tailor the resulting groove precisely to the style of the track. The arpeggiator also offers momentary and latch modes for creating both melodies and accompaniments.
MIDI keyboard with a professional keyboard for producers
Thanks to its PrecisionTouch semi-weighted keyboard, the M-Audio Oxygen PRO 61 MIDI keyboard delivers a natural playing feel and high sensitivity to every touch. With the keys' fast response, you can easily capture even the subtlest nuances in your performance, whether you're creating melodies, chords, or dynamic passages. The aftertouch function also lets you control the sound even after pressing a key by applying finger pressure, enabling you to seamlessly change the expression, dynamics, and character of the sound.
Rich software package for instant creation
The M-Audio Oxygen Pro 61 opens the door to the world of music production with a rich software package included in the box. You get access to professional tools like Ableton Live Lite for creating and arranging tracks, the Melodics learning platform to improve your skills, and virtual instrument and sound packs from Native Instruments and Reason Studios. You can start creating immediately, experiment with different styles, and develop your creativity without needing to purchase additional software.
