The JBL Tune 780NC wireless over-ear headphones offer a listening experience free from ambient noise. The wireless connection uses Bluetooth 6.0 technology, but you can also connect using the detachable cable with a 3.5mm Jack connector. The integrated battery provides power for up to 76 hours of operation without needing a charger. With active noise cancelling turned on, the operating time is adjusted to 50 hours. Fast charging via the USB-C connector provides another 5 hours of listening in just 5 minutes.

Custom 40mm dynamic drivers deliver deep bass and clear highs. Spatial Sound technology creates a surround effect, making sound feel like it's coming from all directions. When using the included USB-C to 3.5mm cable, the headphones transmit audio in high resolution with a frequency range of 10Hz to 40,000Hz. The wireless transmission operates within a range of 10Hz to 20,000Hz.

Noise Cancelling and Ambient Mode

Adaptive Noise Cancelling automatically adjusts to your surroundings to eliminate distracting interruptions. The Ambient Aware feature enhances safety by letting important sounds from the street through. TalkThru mode makes it easy to communicate with other people without having to take the headphones off. All settings can be adjusted directly in the mobile app.

Battery Life and Charging

The integrated 690mAh/3.7V lithium-ion battery offers long operating time on a single charge. Without active noise cancelling, the headphones can play for up to 76 hours. With the ANC feature turned on, playback time is reduced to 50 hours, which is still enough for a full week of use. Talk time is up to 45 hours without ANC and up to 41 hours with ANC, with a full charge taking approximately 2 hours.

Calls and Microphone

The headphones feature two integrated directional microphones with beamforming technology, which precisely focuses on your voice. This advanced technology reliably filters out ambient background noise. This keeps phone calls clear even in the bustling environment of city traffic or an office. The microphone sensitivity is -38dB, which contributes to good intelligibility.

Comfort and Design

The low weight of 225.2g and soft earcups contribute to comfort even during long listening sessions. The padded headband doesn't apply pressure and keeps the headphones securely in place. A special design allowing the earcups to be folded makes them easy to carry safely in a backpack or bag. The outer dimensions of the earcups are 96.3 × 78.8mm with a height of 21mm, while the inner dimensions are 60 × 42.5mm.
