Key Features of the Imou Cruiser 2 3MP IP Camera
- The IMOU SENSE algorithm increases the accuracy of person and car detection
- Wireless connectivity uses the modern Wi-Fi 6 standard in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands
- The integrated 110dB siren serves to actively deter intruders
- A built-in microphone and speaker provide full two-way communication
- The memory card slot supports microSD format up to 256GB
Detailed High-Resolution Image
The 1/2.8" CMOS sensor captures video in 2304 × 1296px resolution at up to 30 frames per second. The fixed lens with a 3.6mm focal length provides a horizontal field of view of 82° and a vertical angle of 42°. Modern H.265 and H.264 video compression effectively reduces storage capacity requirements and network load while maintaining high sharpness.
Flexible Night Vision Modes
The device offers a total of four modes for monitoring a scene in the dark with a range of up to 30m. In smart mode, the infrared black-and-white display automatically switches to colour format as soon as the integrated spotlights detect suspicious movement. The user can also choose a permanent full-colour mode with active spotlights, a classic infrared display, or turn the night vision off completely.
Smart Detection with IMOU SENSE Algorithm
The integrated artificial intelligence uses a proprietary algorithm to accurately recognise people and cars, significantly preventing false alarms caused by insects or moving branches. The detection range is up to 22m for people and 44m for vehicles. When the defined area is breached, the camera instantly sends a mobile notification to the user's phone within 0.6 seconds.
Active Deterrence and Two-Way Audio
The camera body combines a built-in microphone and speaker, which provide clear two-way communication in real time. In the event of a security breach, a light alarm is activated in the form of spotlights, along with a built-in siren with a volume of 110dB. The user can also set their own customisable warning sound tone according to their current needs.
Data Storage on Memory Cards and in the Cloud
Captured video footage can be stored locally on a MicroSD memory card with a capacity of up to 256GB, which provides sufficient space for recording. Another alternative is to connect to a network video recorder (NVR) for longer-term storage or to use remote cloud storage. This gives the user constant access to all stored files from anywhere.
Connectivity Options and Mobile App
Wireless network connection is via the fast Wi-Fi 6 standard in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands with a dual antenna; a 100Mbps RJ-45 LAN Ethernet port is also available. The device is managed via the Imou App mobile application for Android and iOS operating systems. Thanks to ONVIF protocol support, compatibility with recorders from other manufacturers is ensured.
