GIRO Fixture II MIPS Youth Mat Green Rush

The Giro Fixture II MIPS children's cycling helmet provides protection for mountain biking. It combines MIPS technology, which helps protect the brain from rotational forces, with a durable In-mould construction. Comfort is ensured by 16 vents and the Roc Loc Sport fit system, which allows for easy size adjustment using a dial. The helmet is designed for children with a head circumference of 50–57 cm and its extended profile protects the back of the neck.

Protection with MIPS Technology

The Giro Fixture II MIPS helmet places a strong emphasis on safety. Its foundation is an In-mould construction with MIPS, which fuses the outer polycarbonate shell with an inner EPS foam liner. This manufacturing process increases the helmet's durability. The integrated MIPS technology acts as a slip-plane liner, allowing the shell to move slightly independently of the head during an angled impact. This helps to reduce the rotational forces that could otherwise affect the brain. Additionally, the extended profile provides protection for the back of the neck.

Ventilation and Size Adjustment

For comfort on longer rides, the helmet is equipped with 16 vents that ensure airflow and keep the head cool. You can easily adjust the size using the Roc Loc Sport fit system. The dial at the back allows for one-handed circumference adjustment. The inner pads are quick-drying and have an antibacterial treatment. They can be easily removed and washed, which makes maintaining hygiene simple.

Functional Features for Every Ride

The helmet also considers practical details. It includes a removable Snap-Fit 2 visor, which protects the eyes from the sun or rain and can be easily removed as needed. To ensure safety in low-visibility conditions, the helmet features reflective elements. The entire construction meets the European safety standard CE EN 1078:2012+A1, which confirms its protective properties for cycling.
