GeForce GTX 1080
The flagship of NVIDIA delivers an unprecedented graphics performance even in 4K.

16nm core
The completely new Pascal GP102core consists of 7.2 billion transistors with considerably higher clocks than the previous generation.

VR support
Simultaneous calculation of multiple views of a scene help achieve great results in VR.

A modern platform that is second to none
The Pascal GP102 graphics core of the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition boasts a configuration of 3584 CUDA kernels supplemented by 224 texture units. The basic clock rate of the core is 1632MHz and can reach an impressive 1746MHz during its boost mode.
Virtual reality has never been so close
Part of the reason for progress in virtual reality is in utilising GDDR5X, a completely new memory interface which has gone through a completley new manufacturing process allowing for higher permeability with the speed rising to 11.4GHz.
Overall, an up to 3 times faster performance can be expected while using VR applications.

Gigabyte Aorus is built on extreme overclocking
Gigabyte aims to provide the ultimate graphics experience for gaming enthusiasts. AORUS offers a record GTX 1080 chip factory overclocking. For that superior cooling is needed, supplied for the graphics card by WindForce 3X technology. The cooler consists essentially of three layers. The top layer is formed by three 100mm stack fans with ball bearings, of which the middle one is recessed and rotates in the opposite direction. Six composite heat-pipes run through a large aluminium heat sink for the most efficient heat dissipation under the fans. The third layer is composed of a black metal backplate for an even better cooling capacity.
