FIFINE A8 White
FIFINE A8 White
The FIFINE A8 desktop microphone uses a condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. It connects to a computer or games console via a USB connection that supports Plug-and-Play, so there's no need to install drivers. The gaming microphone primarily captures sound from the front, reducing unwanted noise from the sides and rear. The adjustable stand helps to keep it stable on your desk. The microphone is compatible with Windows, macOS, and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games consoles.

Sound capture and polar pattern
The condenser capsule uses a cardioid polar pattern, which focuses on the voice directly from the front. This recording method reduces unwanted sounds coming from the sides and rear, such as fan or keyboard noise. The microphone offers a frequency range of 50Hz to 20kHz and is suitable for gaming communication, streaming, podcasts and other audio content creation.
Ambient noise suppression
The design dampens external vibrations and low-frequency rumbles below 200Hz. An integrated high-density metal pop filter disperses the puffs of air produced when pronouncing plosive sounds. The shock mount protects the capsule from shocks caused by typing on the keyboard or bumping the desk. The frequency range between 5kHz and 13kHz helps to dampen sharp sibilance. This keeps your voice intelligible even without using additional external filters.
Connection and outputs
The device offers easy connection via a USB interface. It also includes an integrated 3.5mm Jack connector for headphones. The headphone output enables sound monitoring with no noticeable delay, so you can instantly check how the microphone is capturing your voice. Connection is possible without an external sound card.
Controls and settings
On the top of the body is a sensitive touch-sensitive Mute button for instant muting. The bottom part houses a rotary Gain control that changes the input sensitivity. An integrated RGB backlighting system offers nine different colours and three selectable lighting modes. The colours can be easily switched and matched to the surrounding environment using a dedicated button.
Mounting and design
The solid stand with an anti-slip base holds the device firmly on any flat surface. The design with an adjustable screw is used to precisely set the tilt for optimal ergonomics. The threaded mount makes it easy to attach to a boom arm or a standard tripod. The overall construction dampens external shocks from the surroundings and contributes to the stability of the entire set. Its compact dimensions don't take up unnecessary space on your desk.
Accessories in the package
The FIFINE A8 is a desktop condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern that connects via USB-C. Its design is perfect for streaming, recording and gaming communication. In the box, you will find the microphone itself with a pre-mounted shock mount and pop filter, along with a stable desktop stand and a USB-C connection cable.
Compatibility by connector
The microphone supports Plug-and-Play operation via USB. Once connected to a Windows or macOS computer, you can use it without needing to install special drivers. The FIFINE A8 is also compatible with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games consoles. Power is supplied directly from the connected device. The microphone is not compatible with Xbox consoles.

Microphone principle
A dynamic microphone is suitable for open performances, live broadcasts, music production, etc. It uses a magnet and a moving coil to capture sound.
A condenser microphone is mainly used for studio purposes. It has higher sensitivity and lower noise. It requires a separate power supply.
Frequency range
The frequency range indicates the range of frequencies the microphone records. The wider the range, the more sounds it can capture.
Low frequencies (e.g. 20–200Hz): Bass, the deepest tones of instruments (double bass, kick drum) and male voices.
Mid frequencies (e.g. 200–3000Hz): The body of instruments, the core of the voice where the ear is most sensitive, important for speech intelligibility.
High frequencies (e.g. 3000–14000Hz): Treble, details, sibilance and the "shine" of the sound.
Air band (above 14000Hz): Gives recordings a feeling of expensive, super-high-quality sound and space.
Sensitivity
Microphone sensitivity is the ratio of output voltage to acoustic pressure. It expresses how loud a signal the microphone produces at a given acoustic pressure; higher sensitivity means a stronger voltage and is suitable for quiet studios, while lower sensitivity is better for noisy environments as it reduces unnecessary amplification of ambient noise.
