Cleaning Technology and Design
The rotating microfibre roller with a density of 64,000 filaments ensures the simultaneous removal of liquids, stains, and dust particles. A system of eight hydration points continuously supplies the roller with clean water, which promotes even cleaning across the entire surface. Dirty water and debris are automatically separated with each rotation of the roller and captured in the floorhead. The clean water tank is positioned low on the head, balancing the weight distribution for better control during movement. The design prevents internal clogging by concentrating debris directly in the head area.
Ergonomics, Control, and Operation
The ultra-slim 38mm diameter handle allows for a natural grip and precise control with a simple hand movement. A flexible joint supports smooth manoeuvring around furniture and obstacles without interrupting movement. The LED display shows the current power mode, battery status, and maintenance alerts. The standard mode is for regular cleaning, while the MAX mode is designed for intensive spot cleaning of stains. A four-cell lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 minutes of run time.
Use and Storage of the Dyson PencilWash Hard Floor Washer
The Dyson PencilWash is suitable for all types of hard floors, including tiles, vinyl, laminate, and sealed wood. A cleaning coverage of up to 100m² on a single charge allows for cleaning typical household spaces without interruption. The surface dries quickly within minutes after cleaning. The charging dock serves to store the wand while simultaneously charging the device. A click-in drip tray captures any residual moisture from the cleaning head after you've finished cleaning.
