DJI has equipped the Neo drone with first-class features, allowing it to take off from your palm and return to it without any fuss. Just press the button for the appropriate shooting mode and the DJI Neo will capture impressive shots without needing a remote controller. The compact drone can track objects using artificial intelligence algorithms, so it can follow you while you're running, cycling, or doing any other activity. The DJI Neo drone will be your small and handy personal photographer, for whom you will always be the centre of attention. You'll have access to QuickShots with a total of six intelligent shooting modes: Dronie, Circle, Rocket, Spotlight, Helix, and Boomerang.
Control the drone in the way that suits you
You can use several ways to control the drone. The DJI Neo supports aerial filming without the need for a remote controller. You can easily pair it with the DJI Fly app, remote controllers, RC Motion, DJI Goggles, and other devices. The DJI drone can also be controlled using your voice or via virtual joysticks in the DJI Fly app. If you get the RC Motion 3, the DJI Neo can perform advanced aerial acrobatics at the touch of a button and even manoeuvre in tight spaces. The drone is simply very agile, making it a great companion for honing your skills in manual mode.
The drone captures great footage with its large sensor
As is tradition with DJI, the Neo drone is also equipped with a high-quality sensor. The one in the DJI Neo is 1/2-inch and can capture 12MP photos. Thanks to advanced stabilisation algorithms, the DJI Neo records excellent stabilised video in 4K UHD at 30 FPS. Video stabilisation is handled by a single-axis mechanical gimbal, which is further enhanced by RockSteady and HorizonBalancing image stabilisation. The DJI drone's stabilisation algorithms significantly reduce overall image shake and adjust the horizon tilt within ±45°, which ensures smooth and stable shots.
The drone has plenty of space for all your creations
The DJI Neo has 22GB of internal storage, which can hold up to 40 minutes of 4K video at 30 FPS or 55 minutes of 1080p video at 60 FPS. When connected to the DJI Fly app, you can use an external microphone to record audio, automatically eliminate propeller noise, or merge the audio track from an external microphone with the recording. The DJI Neo drone features fast QuickTransfer data transmission, meaning you no longer need to connect the drone to your device with a cable; you can use Wi-Fi instead. In the app, you can also perform quick post-production with a single click, for example, using One-Tap Glamour. In addition, you'll have a wide range of templates and sound effects available for easy editing.
The DJI Neo can handle a long flight with excellent stability
Although the DJI Neo drone is really small, you'll be pleasantly surprised by its battery life. The drone can stay in the air for up to 18 minutes and can maintain excellent stability while hovering even in winds up to force 4 by using precise positioning via its infrared and monocular system. The DJI Neo is also equipped with Automatic Return to Home (RTH) upon completion of its flight path. If you use a remote controller, the DJI drone supports the Return to Home (RTH) and Failsafe RTH functions. If you want to recharge the drone's battery, simply connect it directly to an adaptor via the Type-C data cable (included in the package).
