The Canon EOS 1200D is an easy-to-use digital SLR camera that gives you maximum performance, and delivers the desired results. All in a classic body, typical for the DSLR, with an attractive black design, ergonomic hold and intuitive controls. See the results of your artistic activity on the spacious 3-inch LCD screen.
The highly sensitive CMOS image sensor has a truly high resolution of 18Mpx to capture what is essential in the best quality, and it's not a problem to print moments in bulk (up to A2) or crop without losing detail. Perfect focus is achieved thanks to a group of nine camera focus points that deliver crisp, full-blown photos. You can place the object either in the center of the frame or outside it for an interesting composition. The modern processor Digic 4 takes care of the speed and performance of the device .
Taking a video is just as easy as shooting itself--select Movie mode and now just start/stop the world around you. The video is recorded in FullHD quality, so later projection on the monitor or (HD) TV screen will be a success. In Video Snapshot mode, you can create mini-stories of your days-- short, 2, 4 or 8-second clips are recorded, which you can then play as a video presentation.
When you compose the scene in front of you, the EOS 1200D analyzes the image based on color, brightness, movement or faces to help you choose the optimal camera settings for a particular shot, whether you're shooting a landscape or a sporting event. If the lighting conditions aren't optimal, the device will increase the sensitivity and your photos will remain sharp without having to reach the flash (built-in or external) or tripod. In Canon, they know well that natural light can best capture the atmosphere of the scene.
Spend imagination and have fun with the creative effects the camera offers. Experiment with one of five filters, such as Black and White Grain, Cheap Camera or Fish Eye. Show your own inventions in manual modes with time or aperture priority (Tv, Av or M). Feel free to use the white balance function to get the most natural light, and choose auto if you want to fully compose, or choose the best option yourself.
The camera is designed to be as intuitive and as user-friendly as possible. But, to avoid having to learn the whole guide by heart, you can use the "EOS Wizard" smartphone companion application (Google Play and AppStore). It will help you explore all the features and ways of controlling , explaining the creative capabilities of individual lenses, and using interactive tasks to fully develop your skills.
You will also receive a lens for cameras with the Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS II APS-C lens . This lens covers the most widely used range of focal lengths and will become your universal companion on photographic expeditions. The lens features an image stabilization function that ensures you get sharp shots even when shooting at a slower shutter speed. Thread diameter for additional filters is 58mm.
