The BenQ TK705STi projector uses DLP technology to project an image in native 4K UHD resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. It uses an LED light source with a brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens, which renders a clear image even in moderately lit rooms. As a short-throw 4K projector, it is designed for home entertainment, gaming, and watching sports. Thanks to its 0.8 throw ratio, the LED projector creates a large image with a screen size of up to 160" even in smaller rooms, without the need for complicated installation. The integrated Google TV system provides access to popular streaming services. With a low latency of 5ms, the gaming projector responds instantly to commands from the controller.

4K HDR picture and an energy-saving LED source
The display uses DLP technology with a native resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. A brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens, together with BenQ Cinematiccolour and HDR-PRO technologies, renders a clear picture with true-to-life colours. The high 600,000:1 contrast ratio reveals details in both dark and light scenes. The light source is an LED with a lifespan of 20,000 hours in normal mode. In the energy-saving ECO mode, the light source's lifespan extends to 30,000 hours, and the fan noise drops from 26dB to 24dB.
Short throw and automatic setup on the BenQ TK705STi projector
With a short throw distance and a 0.8 ratio, the projector projects an image from a distance of 0.88 to 2.83 metres to create an image with a screen size ranging from 50" to 160.24". Automatic functions make image setup significantly easier. The projector features automatic 2D keystone correction, which adjusts the geometry by ±30° vertically and ±20° horizontally. Focusing and image centring are also automatic. You can install the projector on the ceiling, place it on a table, or use it in rear projection mode.
Gaming and the smart Google TV system
The projector offers a low input lag mode for smooth gaming, achieving a value of 5ms at 4K resolution and a 60Hz frequency. The smoothness of fast-paced scenes when watching sports broadcasts is enhanced by MEMC technology in a special Sport mode. The built-in Google TV operating system with Android 11 provides access to streaming services like Netflix and YouTube. Wireless content sharing from mobile devices is supported by AirPlay and Google Cast technology.
BenQ TK705STi projector connectivity options
For connecting external devices, there are two HDMI 2.1 ports, one USB Type-A port, and a modern USB-C port. The port supports video transfer via Display Port and simultaneously can power connected devices with up to 30W. Wireless connectivity is provided by fast Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2. A 3.5mm jack is available for an external audio system. A 12V DC trigger is included for smart home integration.
