The ASUS TUF GAMING A620M-PLUS WIFI motherboard provides the platform for compact mATX computer builds. With the AMD A620 chipset and AM5 socket, it supports AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000, and future 9000 series processors. Durability and power
The board's design uses military-grade components and a comprehensive TUF PROTECTION system. This includes DIGI+ VRM for precise voltage control, ESD Guards to protect ports from electrostatic discharge, and overvoltage protection. An enhanced power solution and a passive VRM heatsink work together to maintain stable temperatures and power delivery even under heavy loads. A reinforced stainless steel I/O panel and TUF LANGuard, which protects the network port, also increase durability.
Memory support and expansion slots
Four DDR5 memory slots in a Dual-Channel architecture accommodate a total capacity of up to 256GB. The board supports AMD EXPO profiles for simplified overclocking, reaching frequencies of up to 7600MHz for high performance in applications and games. The board has a main PCIe 4.0 x16 slot with a reinforced SafeSlot Core+ design, which better withstands the weight of heavy cards. One PCIe 3.0 x1 slot is available for other expansion cards, such as a sound or network card.
Board connectivity
The board includes two M.2 slots with a PCIe 4.0 interface for fast storage, complemented by four classic SATA III ports for hard drives and SSDs. Network connectivity is handled by a fast 2.5Gb Ethernet port and a wireless module with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The rear panel includes two USB 10Gbps ports and four USB 2.0 ports. Internally, the board has headers for additional USB ports on the case, including a modern USB-C 5Gbps. Two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.1 port are used for connecting monitors.
Easy assembly and personalisation
Features from the ASUS Q-Design family significantly simplify the PC building process. The M.2 Q-Latch system replaces tiny screws for securing M.2 drives with a simple rotating mechanism. Meanwhile, the single-sided Q-DIMM latches make it easier to install and remove memory modules. For visual customisation of your build, there are three Addressable RGB Gen 2 headers that are fully compatible with the Aura Sync system for synchronising lighting effects. In addition, the BIOS FlashBack function lets you update the firmware with only the power supply connected.
