The ROG STRIX Z890-E GAMING WIFI is an ATX motherboard with an Intel Z890 chipset. It supports Intel Core Ultra processors for the Intel 1851 socket and is ready for advanced AI PC builds. The board features a PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlot and one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot supporting x4 mode. It supports DDR5 memory with overclocking up to 8800MT/s in four DIMM slots in dual-channel mode, with NitroPath DRAM, DIMM Fit, AEMP III and DIMM Flex technologies. The board includes seven M.2 slots, three of which support PCIe 5.0 x4, three support PCIe 4.0 x4, and one supports both PCIe 4.0 x4 and SATA. Advanced cooling and connectivity
The board is equipped with M.2 heatsinks, a combined M.2 heatsink, an M.2 backplate and a VRM heatsink for effective heat dissipation. This M.2 heatsink has a direct-contact U-shaped heatpipe to achieve optimal operating temperatures. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlot with PCIe Slot Q-Release Slim fully supports modern graphics cards. WiFi 7 offers a 320MHz wide 6GHz band and 4096 QAM. The Strix Z890-E motherboard is equipped with five chassis fan headers, each supporting automatic detection of PWM or DC fans. The ASUS WiFi Q-Antenna provides a stable wireless connection. ASUS Fan Xpert 4 software gives you control over fans and all-in-one liquid coolers.
