The ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI is an ATX motherboard with an AMD X670E chipset, supporting AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors for the AMD AM5 socket. It supports up to 128GB of DDR5 memory, with extensive support for AMD EXtended Profiles for Overclocking (EXPO) and ASUS Enhanced Memory Profile to optimise the performance of standard memory modules. This motherboard is designed for content creators of all levels and for creative workloads such as virtual production, 3D rendering, and 4K/8K video editing. The board uses a robust 16+2 teamed power stage solution, with each stage rated at 70A. Expansion slots and storage
The motherboard has two PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slots, which feature SafeSlot brackets to support massive graphics cards and offer incredible speeds of up to 64Gb/s for compatible devices. The top slot is easy to release with the Q-Release button. It includes four built-in M.2 slots, two of which are ready for the PCIe 5.0 interface with speeds of 16Gb/s, and the remaining pair offers 8Gb/s transfers via the PCIe 4.0 interface. The integrated M.2 backplate helps ensure peak performance from high-performance PCIe 5.0 drives, even when airflow is limited. There are also four SATA 6Gb/s ports available.
Connectivity and networking
Connectivity includes two USB4 ports with an Intel JHL8540 controller for bidirectional data transfers of up to 40Gb/s, with DisplayPort 1.4 support for one 8K or two 4K monitors, daisy-chain functionality for up to five devices, and 15W charging. It also has a front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C connector with transfer speeds of up to 20Gb/s and Quick Charge 4+ technology for fast charging up to 60W using a PCIe power cable, a DisplayPort input for connecting a graphics card and routing the video output via USB4, and a BIOS FlashBack button. Networking includes two Ethernet ports—10Gb and 2.5Gb—for fast data transfers for internet streaming and local network storage simultaneously, and WiFi 6E for high-capacity wireless connectivity.
Cooling, personalisation and security
ASUS AI Overclocking profiles the CPU and cooling to predict the optimal configuration and push the system to its limits. The Dynamic OC Switcher maximises processor performance by automatically switching between manual overclocking and Precision Boost Overdrive. Two-Way AI Noise Cancellation uses a massive deep-learning database to reduce background noise from the microphone and incoming audio for clear communication. ASUS Control Center Express provides advanced security management features, including USB port management, a software blacklist, and the ability to remotely disable the Registry Editor. The motherboard includes three addressable 2nd Gen Aura RGB headers and one Aura RGB header. The board has been thoroughly tested for continuous operation at up to 45°C and 80% humidity with a 168-hour endurance test.
