Optimised airflow and two-way installation
The specially designed blades of the P8 PWM PST fan create a focused airflow with high static pressure. This ensures effective cooling even in environments with higher resistance, such as when used on passive coolers or water radiators. The fan can be installed in either direction, either to exhaust warm air from the computer case or to draw cool air in.
Speed control and an energy-efficient motor
PWM PST technology lets you synchronise multiple fans at once for maximum cooling performance with minimum noise. The speed range of 200 to 3000RPM enables precise regulation according to current needs. Furthermore, the modern PWM control circuit increases operating efficiency and reduces energy consumption.
Low noise and vibration
Thanks to the motor's sine-magnetisation, it generates fewer vibrations during operation compared to conventional DC motors. The operating noise remains almost inaudible even at lower speeds, which eliminates the need for rubber dampers. The fan thus ensures stable and quiet operation with smooth torque.
Extended lifespan thanks to a lower motor temperature
Reducing the motor temperature by 10°C approximately doubles the fan's lifespan. The modern ARCTIC motor achieves up to 4× the lifespan, which is made possible by the low operating temperature of the coils. In addition, the combination of alloy and lubricant reduces friction in the bearing, thereby increasing operating efficiency.
