Wireless fan connection
ARCTIC BioniX P14 A-RGB fans use innovative bridge modules that physically connect the individual units directly. Lighting
The frame contains a total of 16 addressable LEDs, which create smooth lighting effects. The side slits in the design distribute light in all directions and visually extend the glow from the rotor. Users can customise the colour spectrum and effects to their own preferences. The translucent panels enhance the overall appearance of the computer's interior.
Design for water-cooling radiators
The blade shape and close spacing from the frame increase pressure to 5.4mm H₂O. This parameter is important when installing on the dense fins of water-cooling radiators, where the air must overcome high material resistance. The fan pushes air with a force of 186m³/h, which helps to quickly dissipate heat from the cooling circuit. Efficiency remains stable even under continuous load.
Fluid dynamic bearings
The fluid dynamic bearing with an extended shaft optimises lubricant pressure distribution during rotation. This mechanism prevents friction between metal parts and vibrations that could increase overall noise. The operating noise does not exceed 30dB, even at full load. The stable rotation also extends the overall service life of the mechanical parts.
Speed control and SOTA microcontroller
The built-in SOTA microcontroller suppresses motor noise and effectively compensates for voltage fluctuations in the network. The system supports a zero-fan mode for low loads, which turns the rotor off completely when the PWM signal is below 5%. The speed ranges from 400 to 2500 revolutions per minute. This regulation adapts the speed for quiet operation during normal work and high performance during gaming.
Synchronisation
This fan works seamlessly with the SignalRGB application, where you can set lighting profiles and fan speed curves all in one place.
