The Ajax WaterStop smart valve allows convenient remote or manual control of the water supply to the house, office, warehouse or other buildings. The device combines a 3/4" shut-off valve and a reliable electric actuator that develops a torque of up to 10 Nm, allowing even a stuck valve to be closed without risk of damage. The WaterStop can be controlled remotely via a mobile app, where you can check the status of the valve and open or close it at any time. If a connected leak detector, such as LeaksProtect, sounds an alarm, the Ajax WaterStop automatically shuts off the water supply within 5 seconds. In addition, all users of the system will receive notification of an alarm and activation of a crisis scenario. Use of smart features and applications requires connection to the Ajax Hub (not included).

Automatic and manual shut-off of the water supply
Under normal conditions, the WaterStop valve can close or open the water supply within 5 seconds of a command being sent. In addition to the alarm scenario, automatic water shut-off can be configured according to a timetable or in the event of a change in the safety mode status. There is also the possibility of manual control by means of a button on the cover of the device and a lever on the holder of the shut-off valve. The current status of the valve can be found in the Ajax application, by the colour of the Ajax logo on the valve cover or by the position of the lever.
Easy installation thanks to standard valve type
The device is equipped with a 3/4" Bonomi shut-off valve manufactured according to ISO 521, suitable for both cold and hot water. WaterStop is also available in 1/2" and 1" valve versions. To install, simply fit a standardised shut-off valve to the pipe and then add the device to the system, which takes no more than one minute. When moving, the WaterStop can then be easily removed and another compatible valve installed in its place. Another advantage is the easy removal of the electric drive, which can be done in seconds and without the need for additional tools.
Ajax WaterStop uses Jeweller communication technology
Fast and reliable bi-directional communication between the central hub and connected devices is provided by the Jeweler wireless radio protocol, which has a range of up to 1,100 metres. This allows you to use the smart valve even in large houses, basements or warehouses. The Jeweller interface provides users with access to up-to-date device status information and intelligent valve control in Ajax applications, regardless of the number of connected system devices.
Protection against tampering
The Ajax WaterStop has a locking mechanism that prevents unauthorized removal of the servo motor, so the valve can be installed safely in offices, restaurants, cafes and other public places. If the servomotor is removed (special tools are required), a tamper alarm is triggered and users are immediately notified. In addition, the central unit (Hub) checks the status and availability of connected devices according to a set schedule and sends notifications if the connection to any of them is lost.
WaterStop has a smart design with pre-installed batteries
Valve WaterStop is a smart wireless device that is powered by 4 pre-installed CR123A batteries that last up to 3 years. If required, an external third-party power supply (9V/2A DC) can be connected to the device. In addition, the electric actuator can be mounted on the shut-off valve in four positions, making it easy to install the device in tighter spaces. The servomotor housing is attached to the valve with a mounting lock, so it does not need to be disassembled during installation. This prevents damage to electronic components.
