65" Thomson 65MG7C15

The 65" Thomson 65MG7C15 TV uses Mini LED technology in combination with Quantum Dots on its 164cm (65") screen to display an image in 4K Ultra HD resolution. The panel operates with a native refresh rate of 100/120Hz and contributes to the smooth display of fast-paced scenes. The Google TV operating system ensures apps run smoothly and respond quickly. Displaying content with a high dynamic range uses the HDR10 and HLG formats, as well as the advanced Dolby Vision IQ standard, which optimises brightness and contrast for every scene.

Picture Technology

The 164cm (65") panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 × 2160) operates at a refresh rate of 100/120Hz. The screen with Mini LED backlighting uses 576 independently controlled local dimming zones. This technology delivers high contrast and accurate deep blacks, while Quantum Dots technology expands the colour spectrum. The brightness in HDR content is up to 1,300 nits and the typical brightness is 600 nits. The screen surface has an anti-reflective coating that reduces glare.

Sound Equipment

The sound is provided by a set of speakers with a total output of 40W. The sound system also includes an integrated 20W subwoofer for bass frequencies, which complements the sound spectrum. Support for Dolby Atmos surround sound technology draws the viewer into the action. An HDMI connector with eARC functionality is available for connecting an external soundbar or home cinema system.

Smart Features

The Google TV operating system provides access to streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Apple TV and Prima+. The integrated Chromecast is used to share content from mobile devices to the big screen. Controlling the TV and searching for content is made easy with support for the Google Assistant voice assistant, which is activated by a microphone in the smart remote.

Gaming Features

For gamers, there is support for a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, which in conjunction with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and AMD FreeSync technology synchronises the image with the graphics card. For connecting modern consoles and high-performance computers, there are two HDMI 2.1 ports for full gaming performance. The result is smooth motion rendering without tearing, and the ALLM function automatically switches the TV to a low-latency game mode.

Connectivity Options

Four HDMI inputs 2 (2.0) + 2 (2.1) are used to connect external devices. There are also three USB ports 2 (2.0) + 1 (3.0) for media playback.
