Smart gaming monitor with webOS 26
You don't have to use the LG UltraGear 39GX90SB-W just as a display device connected to a computer. The webOS 26 system provides access to streaming services, LG Channels, and other smart features directly from the monitor. The Gaming Portal also gives you access to supported cloud gaming services like GeForce NOW and Amazon Luna, so you can run compatible games even without a separate console or gaming PC.
α8 AI Processor Gen3 optimises picture and sound
The powerful α8 AI Processor Gen3 continuously analyses the content being played and adjusts the picture and sound settings accordingly. AI Picture Pro uses AI Super Upscaling to enhance the quality of individual objects in the scene, and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro optimises brightness and detail. The result is a clearer, more balanced picture when using content via webOS.
AI Sound Pro for more impressive surround sound
AI Sound Pro technology creates virtual 11.1.2-channel surround sound and adapts its character to the content being played. AI Object Remastering separates dialogue, music, and sound effects, then adjusts each component for better clarity and a more balanced delivery. The monitor has a pair of integrated 5W speakers.
UltraWide OLED with a pronounced 800R curve
The curved 39" OLED display with a 3440×1440px resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio provides a wide field of view and more space on the sides than a standard 16:9 display. The pronounced 800R curve envelops your field of view, enhancing the sense of immersion in racing, action, and other games. The OLED panel also offers exceptionally deep blacks and a typical contrast ratio of up to 1,500,000:1.
Bright OLED picture with MLA+ technology
The OLED panel uses Micro Lens Array+ (MLA+) technology, which increases light efficiency and helps achieve a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits. Support for VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black, HDR10, and 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour space contributes to high contrast, rich colours, and well-defined dark scenes. The display can show 1.07 billion colours.
240Hz and 0.03ms response time for fast-paced gaming
A 240Hz refresh rate combined with an extremely fast 0.03ms GtG response time enables fast-moving action to be displayed with high fluidity and minimal motion blur. NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies synchronise the refresh rate with the graphics card's output, helping to reduce screen tearing and stuttering.
Gaming features for better control over the action
The LG UltraGear is enhanced with Dynamic Action Sync, which helps reduce input lag, and Black Stabilizer for better visibility of detail in dark scenes. Crosshair adds a virtual crosshair to the centre of the screen and the FPS Counter lets you monitor your current frame rate.
USB-C, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort
The monitor offers 2× HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, and USB-C, so you can easily connect it to your gaming and work setups. The USB-C port supports data transfer and can power a compatible laptop with up to 65W. There are also two USB 2.0 ports, a LAN connector, and a headphone output. WQHD picture at 240Hz can be used via DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1.
Slim stand and four-sided borderless design
The four-sided, virtually borderless design is complemented by a space-saving L-shaped stand and Unity Hexagon Lighting RGB backlighting. The stand allows you to adjust the height, tilt and swivel of the display. For mounting the monitor on a bracket, the VESA 100×100mm standard is available.

Colour coverage (gamut)
Determines how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB will be appreciated by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours.
Maximum brightness
The value given in nits or cd/m² determines the brightness of the monitor. A brightness of over 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values over 250.
Refresh rate and response time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
