The deepest screen curve
Discover the most immersive viewing experience with Samsung's deep curved screen. The curvature of the screen reproduces your field of view similar to that of an IMAX cinema - with a radius of 1800mm to achieve even greater curvature - creating a wider field of view, increasing spatial perception and minimising peripheral distraction, which will draw you straight into the action.
1800R curved screen for increased viewing comfort
The larger curvature of the 1800R screen allows your eyes to follow the full screen continuously while maintaining the same viewing distance. The National University Hospital in Seoul has shown that monitor curvature reduces eye strain on the user compared to conventional flat screen monitors.
Enhanced VA panel
The vertically arranged liquid crystal panels on the Samsung panel prevent the backlight much more efficiently than the IPS panels, so the screen curve minimises light leakage and provides deeper and more uniform blacks across the screen, including the edges.
Flawlessly smooth gameplay with AMD FreeSync
AMD FreeSync technology dynamically synchronises the refresh rate of the screen with the refresh rate of your images. AMD FreeSync minimises interruptions and delays, ensuring flawless gaming. The game mode optimises the colour and contrast of the screen at any given moment so you can enjoy every scene in all its glorious beauty.
Incredibly slim profile and stylishly curved design
Due to the stunning 11.9mm thick profile - as slim as a pencil - this curved panel is more than half as thin as previous curved models. The simple round stand complements the slim curved panel well.
Save your eyes with a more comfortable viewing experience
Eye-Saving Mode minimises eye fatigue by reducing blue light that stimulates your eye's retina more than other colour wavelengths, making viewing more comfortable. Flicker Free technology minimises distracting screen flicker to protect your eyes from exertion, allowing you to work or play over longer periods more comfortably.
