23.8" Lenovo ThinkVision E24-40

23.8" Lenovo ThinkVision E24-40
The Lenovo ThinkVision E24-40 monitor is a work tool that brings efficiency and comfort. It is based on a 23.8" IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920×1080, which provides a sharp and detailed image. With a 100Hz refresh rate, it offers smoother motion when browsing documents or watching videos compared to standard 60Hz monitors. This IPS monitor achieves 99% sRGB colour space coverage, which is key for consistent colour reproduction. As an ergonomic office monitor, it comes with a fully adjustable stand. This Full HD monitor with pivot, adjustable height and tilt adapts to every user. The monitor supports wall mounting with a VESA mount.

Detailed View on the IPS Panel
The IPS panel displays content in Full HD 1920×1080 resolution at a 16:9 aspect ratio. This technology supports wide viewing angles without colour distortion. The 1,300:1 contrast ratio and 250 nits of brightness contribute to good readability in normal lighting conditions. Colour reproduction covers 99% of the sRGB space at an 8-bit colour depth (thanks to 6-bit+FRC technology), which is sufficient for accurate colour reproduction in office applications and for basic photo editing. The almost frameless design on three sides makes it easy to set up multiple monitors side-by-side with small gaps.

Flexibility for Work
The 100Hz refresh rate along with the 4ms response time reduces motion blur and contributes to a smoother display when scrolling through text quickly or in dynamic scenes. The monitor stand offers extensive options for adjusting the working position. The height can be adjusted in a range of 155mm, the screen can be tilted from –5° to +22°, or completely swivelled 360° on the base. The pivot function is used to rotate the panel 90 degrees vertically, which is practical when working with long documents, spreadsheets or programming. For an alternative wall or external arm mount, a VESA mount with a 100×100mm spacing is available.

Integrated Speakers
The monitor is equipped with two integrated speakers, each with an output of 2W. These speakers provide high-quality stereo sound and are sufficient for system sounds, video conferencing and basic multimedia playback. This saves users space on their desk as they will not need external audio equipment.

Connectivity Options
The monitor connects to a computer or other devices via DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and the older VGA connector. This combination of ports supports wide compatibility with different generations of business and home hardware, from modern laptops to older desktop computers. This allows users to easily connect the monitor to any device.

Its original name was Legend. Later it was renamed to Legend Novo ("New Legend"), abbreviated Lenovo. In 2005 it took over IBM's computer division, which was among the largest computer makers in the world. It is similarly ambitious in the field of mobile phones, where it would like to surpass Apple and Samsung. As far as this goal goes, they acquired Motorola’s mobile division in January 2014 and have been ramping up production since. The company also produces tablets, monitors, televisions, and storage solutions. Overall, they are known for delivering quality products at reasonable prices.
